Every Earth Day, we celebrate our home with a hike and a beach clean up. As my family and I stroll thru this north shore valley on our hike we were blown away by all the Nene Geese hanging by all the taro fields. They didn't seem at all phased by us, actually it seemed as though they were checking US out!
Good fun, great hike, with lots of birds and plants to explore....of course my little scientists had their field guides and told us exactly what everything was!
Aloha! Welcome to barefoot ginger, my photo journal of embellishing everyday life. I enjoy creating ANYTHING I can configure my mind and hands around. I am an avid gardener, photographer, teacher, painter, mother and wife. My blog is to reflect on my journey as a photographer, to showcase beauty and inspiration in places often overlooked, to capture the love of people, family, friends, nature and life's simple little pleasures. ENJOY!**************
